- slik sIm from back east and this is one of the best cheese steak places in sac. Definitely within the top 3. Haven't found many places that beat their steak seasoning, so flavorful and super close to back home!
About us
Wild Bill moved up to Folsom in 2002. Upon his arrival, he realized there were no cheesesteaks. So after starting with a franchise, he broke away very quickly realizing the portions were way too small and the product wasn't very good.
So he imported Amoroso rolls from Philly and rib eye steak and offered more meat on sandwiches. He also offered up four types of cheeses. There are 15 different cheesesteaks to choose from—with every sandwich available in chicken. There are also veggie options, hot dogs, burgers, wings, fish 'n chips, pastrami and pulled pork as well as several beers on tap. There is a nice children's menu which includes tater tots and a drink.
There are two flat screens where you will always find sports entertainment. Wild Bill is huge Giants and Yankees fan as well as 49ers and Bears fan. He has two sandwiches named after his favorite player Walter Payton, and of course the "Joe" after Joe Montana himself. He is a big sponsor of local Little League and youth athletics in Folsom and El Dorado Hills. His location was established in 2004, so he would like to thank everyone for their support. We also deliver and cater big orders.
